Golden Globe Awards 2010

Il 17 gennaio si è svolta la cerimonia di premiazione per i Golden Globe Awards 2010 a Beverly Hills.
  • CONFERME:
- come Miglior Film è stato riconosciuto "Avatar", considerato un film di svolta nella storia del Cinema; anche il premio per la Miglior Regia è andato a James Cameron sempre per "Avatar".
- Miglior film d'animazione è "Up", che nonostante competesse con altri film di un innegabile valore (tipo "Coraline" e "La principessa e il ranocchio") è indubbiamente il Cartoon più importante e acclamato del 2009; "Up" si aggiudica anche il premio per la Miglior Colonna Sonora Originale.

BOCCIATURE:

- unico film italiano in concorso, nella categoria "Miglior Film Straniero", era "Baarìa", prodotto e sponsorizzato dal Sig. B. e "stranamente" mandato ai Golden Globe Awards nonostante l'irrilevanza internazionale del film e anzi la palese avversione generale.
Baarìa è stato preferito addirittura a "Lo spazio bianco" di Francesca Comencini che, sebbene su questo blog sia stato poco esaltato perché si tratta del "solito" dramma all'italiana (un genere che ha egemonizzato la produzione cinematografica italiana), è certamente un film di maggiore spessore e maggiormente apprezzato dalla critica e dal pubblico nazionale e internazionale.
Da quanto si poteva leggere nei giorni scorsi sulla stampa nazionale, invece, in Italia qualcuno (quantomeno alcuni giornalisti e critici) davvero credevano (o ipocritamente così volevano dare l'impressione) che "Baarìa" avesse qualche possibilità di vittoria.
In realtà, bastava leggere quali altri film erano in concorso per capire che non c'era alcuna possibilità che "Baarìa" vincesse. Tra gli altri candidati, spiccava "Il nastro bianco" di Michael Haneke, già vincitore della Palma d'Oro come Miglior Film al Festival di Cannes nel 2009, e che quindi poteva essere considerato "favorito" (il film che più probabilmente avrebbe vinto, ed infatti ha vinto).
